The Blatt family lives in Ohio where Susan directs a non-medical home care agency. She has three wonderful daughters, Grace (15) adopted from China in 1997, Martha (13) adopted from China in 2000, and Kristina (11) adopted from Bulgaria in 2011. Because two of the girls have significant special need, this family has developed a deep love for all special needs children. And God has also shown them His heart regarding the love and care of children who are without forever families. They want to be His hands and feet in caring for the most vulnerable among us.
Shortly after bringing Kristina home through Reece’s Rainbow, Susan and the girls decided to open their home once again to yet another little girl. Their new daughter and sister, Delia, is just 9 months younger than Kristina, and she shares that same special extra chromosome of Down Syndrome that Kristina has! The Blatt family is thrilled that the Lord has provided another perfect match for their family, and they are so grateful that He will also provide the resources necessary to bring Delia home.
