The nature of an active, sociable
Little Diane has Cornelia de Lange syndrome, which is also referred to as “Babydoll Syndrome.” This has been described as a syndrome that limits how her brain and body grows. She will always be mentally delayed, and very small in stature. It has also affected her hearing.
From a family who met her in Nov 2011: In spite of her delays, she is keenly aware that some of her friends are going home with their mommies … and she wants one. She would cling to me and cry when I brought my daughter back to the groupa. She has the LONGEST eyelashes I’ve ever seen in my life. She loves music and dancing. She’s got a very gentle personality.
Diane’s grant of $1143.00 has been gifted to Mirabel.
***This child is in a country that is currently not accepting new commitments. We can no longer accept grant donations or inquiries for this child, but we have not given up on any of these children and encourage all of our Prayer Warriors to continue their efforts! When and if this country program re-opens for adoptions, we will relist this child and begin seeking an adoptive family immediately.***
