Joshua 16
DOB April 2009
Joshua has HIV and HSV/CMV. He can be adopted with other unrelated children in the region. He is in a 'psychoneurological' baby house which means he will most likely be transferred to a mental institute if he doesn't have a family by age 4. This is a decent baby house. The nannies are caring. The children have access to outdoor play, physical therapy play equipment and a sensory room. The children here have access to ARV medication and see a specialist doctor twice per year. Additional photos and video available.
From a recent adoptive family:
This little guy seems stoic at first. It took him a little while to warm up to us and show his true personality. Once he was comfortable with us, he started smiling and laughing. He wanted to run and play with us and be picked up and cuddled. He is not demanding of attention at all. He would walk up to us and wait his turn for some love and attention. He loved sitting on my lap and being rocked and held and sang to and he snuggles right in. He is quiet and shy and has a tranquil demeanor. He has so much potential but I think he goes unnoticed in this environment because he is so easy-going and laid back. The nannies are busy with the more high-maintenance children so he doesn't seem to get a lot of attention.
$63.00 is available towards the cost of my adoption!
