Keith #11-12

DOB: 2007

 

Diagnosis: Down syndrome, anomaly of the excretory system, strabismus 

 

Keith is 4 years old and weighs just 11 pounds. He is in an orphanage where he receives only the most basic care and no stimulation or opportunity to develop. As a result, Keith is significantly delayed, even for a child with Down syndrome. He spends most of his day in his crib. He can roll and move around in his crib by scooting on his back. He can sit up. He is not able to walk or talk, though he does make some minimal sounds.
