Evie has several medical diagnoses, but she is actually not affected by many of them in her day to day life. She was diagnosed with Fraley Sundrome, but a detailed report in her medical records show that her kidneys are both functioning perfectly. Her cerebral palsy appears to effect her lower limbs and she receives massages and physical therapy. She can pull to a stand and take steps, though she attempts to walk on her toes. She is being encouraged to learn to crawl, to strengthen her core muscles. She plays with toys, interacts with other children and responds to her name. She receives speech therapy and she's begining to make sounds and repeat syllables. She reacts with with displeasure when she's told no and cheers when she's praised (sounds like a typical 2 year old to me!). She eats with a spoon. She maintains eye contact with adults and enjoys it when they play with her. She plays with toys and mainpulates them in order to get them to work. She smiles at the other children and will sit amongst a group of children and play.
