GIA and GIO for the Jepson family — US Military, Germany

Robert and Lura are both military brats who met when both of their parents were stationed at Travis AFB in California. Robert (aka Bobby) was born in Arkansas, spent time in Nebraska, Arizona, Japan, and California growing up. Lura was born in California and has lived all over the United States. Bobby and Lura met while working at Pizza Hut. They became close when Bobby decided that he liked running as much as Lura did, and they would run miles upon miles nightly after work. While they would run, they would talk and they grew closer and closer together.

One day Bobby decided to go with Lura to San Francisco, and they shared their first kiss on Pier 39 after they spent the entire day together. After a whirlwind romance, they stood in front of their family and friends and proclaimed their love for each other on Lura’s birthday (July, 7 2007) in Chandler, Arizona. Robert had recently joined the Air Force, and Lura has been following him all over the world since.

They adopted a rottweiler/shepard mix named Lucy, and a calico cat named Desi from an animal shelter while stationed at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma. They currently do not have any children, but are looking at expand their family through international adoption. They have their heart set on a sibling set from Eastern Europe, and hope to bring them home as quickly as possible!
