A Child for Steve and Katrina

Steve and Katrina have been married for 18 years. They have 3 boys and one adopted princess. In 2003, they were pregnant with their 4th son when they discovered that he no longer had a heartbeat. Katrina was 6 months pregnant at the time. Because of this loss and the hard pregnancies that Katrina has, they decided to look into adopting.

In 2007 they looked into becoming foster parents. Shortly after they got the call for their little princess. They knew they were only her foster parents but immediately feel in love with her. After 18 months the birth parents decided it would be in the little princess’ best interest to be adopted by Steve and Katrina. Her adoption was finalized in April 2010.

In July of 2011 they decided to adopt again. Katrina had worked with children that have special needs and was a sign language interpreter. So they decided they would like to add a child that has Down syndrome to their family.

In July of 2012 they meet an adorable little girl that is 6 years old and has been living in an orphanage all her life. They fell in love with her and are awaiting a court date to make her a part of their forever family.

They would appreciate any support you can give them.
