XANDER for the Kelley family — AL

I have several friends adopting through Reece’s Rainbow and I went to the site to donate to a friends fund.  I saw the link for the 5/5/5 program and then Xander’s picture.  Instead of just feeling compassion for his situation I felt what my friends had already experienced.  I felt protective and everything in me rebelled at the thought of this child going to an institution.  Looking at his eyes it felt like I was looking at my son.  So I talked to my husband and we decided to make Xander part of our family.  To bring him home to us where his needs don’t mark him as less, so that he can be his best.
