Octavia

Girl, Born September 2002

 

Octavia is 9 years old.  She is diagnosed HIV+, stage 2, and also ADHD.    We are uncertain if she takes meds to help with her attention deficit, but would certainly benefit from the availbility of that help here in the US.

 

Her medical records indicate a mild level of cognitive delay, but we don’t know if this is because of the ADHD or possible FAS.  She does have some facial features of this condition, although it is not documented in her file.
